There were pale leaves spinning in place on the ground.
Surrounded on all sides by the green of your innocence.
When we speak, it all slides away
shedding my skin,
only tiny electrified hairs remain.
I unravel your nervous system,
just to take a look.
But the shock kicks my jaw and
acidic liquid flows down my arms simmering exposed fibery flesh;
dripping from the crevices of your brain,
you take flight
spurting fountains of shimmering adrenaline
along paths of dead treelimb
leaving me in a puddle, reflected...
I've melted, I've melted
You've revealed me.
